Important changes for artists who participated in the 2009 show. ONCE AGAIN, ALL ARTISTS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE 2009 SHOW ARE INVITED BACK WITHOUT JURYING except for Fiber & Jewelry categories, which are being entirely re-juried in 2010. ALL 2009 ARTISTS ARE EXEMPT FROM THE JURY FEE. CATEGORY RE-JURYING Beginning in 2010, each year several categories will be entirely re-juried. All media will be re-juried over a four year cycle as follows. 2010: Fiber & Jewelry will be entirely re-juried. 2011: Ceramics, Sculpture, Wood 2012: Painting, Drawing/Graphics/Prints 2013: Photography, Mixed Media, Glass IN ORDER TO RETURN… WE PREFER RETURNING ARTIST ENTRIES VIA ZAPPLICATION, at www.zapplication.org. Click on the Zapp logo above to connect to the Zapplication entry. MAIL ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED CLICK HERE FOR MAIL ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS: ZAPPLICATION entries: Deadline March 7. The jury fee is waived (use coupon code "2009"). Must be accompanied by 3 digital images of your work.For details on digital file preparation and suggestions for having physical slides converted to digital, please see: http://www.zapplication.org/images.phtml Fiber and Jewelry: do NOT send booth/competition entry fee until you receive acceptance notice. All other categories MUST make your booth/competition entry fee payment when you submit your entry. MAILED entries must be postmarked by March 7. Fiber and Jewelry entries MUST include a CD with 3 digital images of your work. All other categories MUST include booth/entry fee and MAY include CD with 3 digital images of your work.. SPECIAL PROCEDURES FOR FIBER & JEWELRY ARTISTS IN 2010: MARCH 7 is the deadline to enter. Entries for artists returning from 2009 in these categories are preferred via Zapplication (use the coupon code "2009" for exemption from jury fee). Mailed entries MUST be accompanied by a CD with 3 digital images of your work. See below for file specifications, or you may use zapplication image specifications. You will be notified of jury results by March 23 via email. APRIL 7 is the payment deadline for booth/competition entry fees for artists accepted in these categories. Payment via Zapplication or mail. CD digital file requirements: Must be in jpeg format in a file size not larger than 5 MB. CD’s will not be returned. Name and Label your image: A, B, or C, underscore, last name lower case, first initial UPPERCASE, underscore, and title. Write the same information on the CD with permanent marker.
